New Year Wishes

Happy New Year Bulls Fans!

I hope everyone had a great holiday season. I’m in the middle of making myself a pot of coffee, the first of the New Year, so I’m keeping this post kind of short.

With the Chicago Bulls still mired in a rebuild and spinning their wheels in basketball hell, I’d like to express a couple wishes that I have for this team in the New Year:

1) I wish the Front Office would find another player that can create his own shot. Either through a trade, the draft, or free agency, we need at least one more player that can score from anywhere and at any time. Right now, there is too much reliance on Zach LaVine and Coby White. The Bulls need a third scorer.

2) I wish the Front Office would find a player that can create shots for his teammates. I had hoped Tomas Satoransky would be that guy, but his play has been too inconsistent this season. Lauri Markkanen and Wendell Carter Jr’s development have both suffered without a consistent assist man. The Bulls need a Floor General.

3) I wish the Front Office would focus on acquiring players that can play “above the rim.” The Bulls currently only have two players on the entire roster that can be considered dynamic leapers, Zach LaVine and Daniel Gafford. The Bulls need more super athletes.

4) I wish the Front Office would collect lengthy players. Thaddeus Young and Kris Dunn both have great length for their height. Long arms make for better defenders. After losing to the length of the Orlando Magic last week, I am covetous of Jonathan Isaac and his 7’1” wingspan. Get on it GarPax!

Well the coffee is done brewing, and so am I.

It’s a new year and a new decade, maybe the Front Office will hear some of these wishes and steer this Bulls team to a new destination, some place other than basketball hell.

As always, thanks for reading and GO BULLS!
