Color me confused. I didn’t think this would happen until the end of the season. Here’s John Paxson’s official statement…
It looks like assistant coach Jim Boylen will take over as the head coach.

If the Bulls don’t make Boylen the long term head coach, let me suggest Becky Hammon of the San Antonio Spurs. She’s been working with Gregg Popovich for 4 years, developing the young talent on the Spurs. I think she would be a great fit for this young Bulls roster.
