Lauri Markkanen (sprained ankle) started last night!
The Bulls played poorly and lost, 92-79, to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Congratulations to Justin Holiday and his wife on the birth of their first child! Understandably, Justin missed the game last night to be with his family. Kris Dunn got his first start of the season. He and Jerian Grant made up the back court for the Bulls.
Antonio Blakeney, one of the Bulls 2-way contract players, had a nice game. Coach Fred Hoiberg said after the game that Blakeney earned himself a spot in the rotation.
“I thought Blakeney showed some real signs…He can get to the basket…He really went out there and showed that he can stay in the rotation for now” – Coach Hoiberg pic.twitter.com/t1hCPvVHn9

Hoiberg on Blakeney: “He’s one of the few guys we have on this roster who, when we get the switch and right matchup, he can take advantage of it and get a quality shot.”

If he continues to play well, a guaranteed contract might not be outside the realm of reason for the young shooting guard.
Even better news for fans of the tank, the Atlanta Hawks won last night!
